Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MYB LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as Milefaro ("Milefaro", "we", "us"). By using milefaro.com or the Milefaro app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Milefaro
You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a legal contract. You must give true information, including your real full name, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done with your account.
2. What Milefaro is
Milefaro is a platform where people can look up vehicle information, list cars for sale, talk with each other and leave reviews. Milefaro is not a car dealer, broker or seller. We are not a party to any sale between users, and we do not own, inspect or guarantee any vehicle.
3. Vehicle history and information
Vehicle history, VIN details and market values come from users, public sources and partners. They may be incomplete, late or wrong. A clean history does not mean a car has no problems. Always get an independent mechanic's inspection and check the title before you buy.
4. Listings, reviews and your content
- You must own or have the right to sell any car you list, and your listing, photos, price and VIN must be true and accurate.
- Reviews and records must be honest and based on your real experience.
- You keep ownership of your content, but you give Milefaro a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, show, copy and share it to run and promote the Service.
- We may remove any content or listing that breaks these Terms or the law.
5. Things you must not do
- Post false, misleading, stolen or salvage vehicles as clean, or hide known damage.
- Scam, harass, threaten or discriminate against other users.
- Post fake reviews, fake accounts or spam.
- Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools, or try to get around our security.
- Post anything illegal, or anything that breaks someone else's rights.
6. Dealing with other users
You are fully responsible for your dealings with buyers, sellers and workshops, including payment, the vehicle, title transfer and taxes. Meet in safe public places and never send money before you have seen the car and its documents. Report suspicious users to us.
7. Paid features
Some features (such as history reports or featured listings) may cost money. Prices will be shown before you pay. Unless the law says otherwise, payments are not refundable after the report or feature has been delivered.
Monthly plans include the number of history checks, car listings and market values shown on our Pricing page for each month. Unused checks roll over for one month. Plans renew automatically each month until you cancel, and you can cancel any time before the next renewal.
8. Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other users at risk.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. We do not promise that the Service will always be available or error-free, or that any information on it is accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, MILEFARO AND MYB LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS FROM A VEHICLE OR A DEAL BETWEEN USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU WILL NOT BE MORE THAN THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS OR US $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to protect and pay for any claims against Milefaro and MYB LLC that come from your content, your vehicles, your deals with other users, or your breaking these Terms.
12. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in King County, Washington, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
13. Changes
We may change these Terms. If the changes are important, we will tell you before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms.
